What it does

Bambu Studio's Prepare toolbar on the touch strip of a Stream Deck + or a Stream Deck + XL, in six strips in Bambu Studio's own order plus the camera views: Plate (Add, Auto-Orient, Arrange), Shape (Move, Rotate, Scale, Lay Flat), Shape 2 (Cut, Mesh Boolean), Paint (Color, Support, Seam, Fuzzy), Mark (Assembly, Text, Brim Ears, Measure) and View (Iso, Top, Front, Fit). Tap a tool to open it, or turn to arm one and press.
Eight dials. Layer Scrub and Preview Step walk the preview layers and the g-code steps, and a fast spin jumps five. Nudge moves the selected part 10 mm per click, or 1 mm when you press and turn, and a press switches between X and Y. Zoom zooms at the pointer like the mouse wheel, and its strip shows the nozzle, bed and chamber temperatures. View Finder walks seven camera views, Undo Redo turns through history and presses to save the project, and Painting Size Gadget and Section View set the pen size and the section plane inside the painting tools.
A live Bambu Status key with five modes you pick in its settings: print progress, temperatures, last slice stats, active preset and project name. It is read-only: it never clicks Bambu Studio or commands the printer.
Follow Bambu, off by default: turn it on and the 15-key Stream Deck's profile jumps to its Preview page when a slice finishes, and back to the hub when you open the Device tab.
85 commands on real keys across 12 categories: all 78 of Bambu Studio's default hotkeys plus seven gizmo keys its shortcuts dialog leaves out, each wearing its own 3D key art and each remappable. Any key can play one of 33 bundled sounds.
Six bundled profiles with Easy Link top-left on each. The Stream Deck + XL opens on a Number Pad page with the six toolbar strips on its knobs, then lays all 85 commands out as category bands with all eight dials. The Stream Deck + has three pages: Toolbar, Bambu Studio, and Camera and Paint. The 15-key Stream Deck opens on a hub of 12 category keys with a page per category, the 32-key Stream Deck XL carries the band layout over five pages, and the Stream Deck Mini and the Stream Deck Neo carry starter keys.

What you need

Windows 10 or later or macOS 13 or later, Stream Deck software 6.9 or newer, and Bambu Studio 02.08.02.61, the version the command set is built from. Keystrokes go to the active window, so keep Bambu Studio in front. On a Mac, Stream Deck needs Accessibility and System Events permission.

Works with Bambu Studio 02.08.02.61 on Windows 10 or later and macOS 13 or later, with Stream Deck software 6.9 or newer. Profiles are bundled for six decks: the 15-key Stream Deck, the Stream Deck +, the Stream Deck + XL, the 32-key Stream Deck XL, the Stream Deck Mini and the Stream Deck Neo.
Keep Bambu Studio in front when you press a key: the plugin types into the active window. If Ctrl keys or gizmo letters do nothing, click once inside the 3D view. The Shape, Shape 2, Paint and Mark toolbar tools open only with a part selected, and Mesh Boolean and Assemble want two; Plate, View and Text work without a selection.
Zoom, Painting Size Gadget and Section View ride the mouse wheel, so keep the pointer over the Bambu Studio window; the last two work only inside the Support Painting and Color Painting tools. Layer Scrub and Preview Step work on the Preview tab: on the Prepare tab they dim, send nothing, and a press takes you to Preview.
On Windows the printer readings come from Bambu Studio's Device tab, which Bambu Studio only publishes while that tab is showing. Until you have opened it, the Status key's printer and temperature modes say OPEN DEVICE; after you leave it, the last readings stay on the key and on the Zoom strip but turn dim, and the key marks them STALE.
On a Mac, turn on Stream Deck in System Settings, Privacy and Security, Accessibility, and allow System Events when asked, plus Local Network: there the printer readings come from the printer's own report over your network, read-only, tested with an X1 Carbon. Ctrl is sent as Command and Alt as Option. Switch Tab has no Mac key (its shortcut is the app switcher), so the two preview dials stay live on the Prepare tab with no go-to-Preview press, and the four camera Ctrl+arrow keys and Labels by Object do nothing there.
Upgrading from version 2: Stream Deck keeps a profile it already installed, so your old profiles for the 15-key Stream Deck, the Stream Deck +, the Stream Deck + XL and the 32-key Stream Deck XL keep their old pages. Delete those four in the Stream Deck app; the next time Easy Link brings Bambu Studio's profile up, Stream Deck offers the new one: click Install. The Stream Deck Mini and Stream Deck Neo profiles are unchanged.

Every key carries the app's own shortcut for that command, and every key is remappable. Type your combination into the key's property inspector (its settings panel in the Stream Deck app) or click Capture and press it once. Where an app leaves a command unbound, the key still reaches it by the route that app exposes.
Keystrokes go to the front window and nothing steals focus, so keep the target app in front when you press.
Every command has its own drawn key art, so the deck reads at a glance instead of listing shortcuts.
