The darkroom is slider work, and sliders are what dials are for. One click of the exposure dial is one of darktable's own finest steps, and a fast flick makes each click worth about ten.

What it does

Dials for exposure, perspective rotation, zoom, image navigation, history and lighttable paging, each with its own touch-strip art. A fast flick on exposure or rotation makes each click worth about ten.
An optional Lua bridge unlocks the two sliders darktable binds to no key: contrast and white balance. With it live, those and the exposure and rotation dials print the slider's real value on the touch strip after each move, and all four decline in the wrong view instead of firing the wrong binding.
Both bundled profiles install with the plugin: a color-coded 15-key category hub carrying all 134 commands, and a Stream Deck + page with all four encoder slots filled.

What you need

darktable 5.6.0 on Windows 10 or 11, and Stream Deck software 6.9 or later. The eight dials need a Stream Deck +; every key action works on any Stream Deck model.

Built and tested against darktable 5.6.0 on Windows 10 and 11. Requires the Windows Stream Deck app 6.9 or later. Dials require a Stream Deck +; keys work on every Stream Deck model.
Keystrokes go to the active window, so keep darktable in front when you press a key or turn a dial.
Many commands act in one view only, and each key's property inspector says which. The view keys toggle the way darktable's own shortcuts do: pressing Darkroom while already in the darkroom returns you to the lighttable.
The Contrast and White Balance dials need the optional Lua bridge. It runs in darktable's own built-in Lua engine, nothing else to fetch: install it from any dial's property inspector and restart darktable once; Remove takes the script and its luarc line back out. Without the bridge those two dials alert rather than pretend.
Four commands are press and hold, not press and fire: Full preview, Force pan and zoom, Preview while held, Preview with focus. The key stays down as long as you hold it.
Remapped your darktable shortcuts? Every key has a Capture field in the property inspector: press your combination once and that key sends exactly that from then on. It works inside Multi Actions too.

Every key ships with the app's stock default shortcut, and every key is remappable. Type your combination into the property inspector or click Capture and press it once.
Keystrokes go to the active window. The plugin never steals focus or targets a window, so keep the target app in front when you press.
Every command has its own drawn key art, so the deck reads at a glance instead of listing shortcuts.
