Choosing a tool in Shapr3D means opening a menu and finding it. On a ring you turn and then confirm, so the choice happens under your thumb while the model stays in front of you, and the key you fired from stays lit so the board shows where you are.

What it does

The Tool Ring arms any of 17 sketch and modeling tools on the touch screen: turn to choose, press to fire, tap to swap between the sketch and modeling sets. Nothing sends while you are still choosing, and the Constraint Ring applies ten sketch constraints the same way.
Seven dials, six of them live on every page of the Stream Deck + XL: view presets, undo and redo scrubbing, the Tool Ring, both orbit axes, panels, and the Constraint Ring.
Both orbit axes come off the mouse and onto the dials as a trackpad-shaped gesture. Press flips the turn's axis, hold for fine steps.
Fire a tool from the deck and its key lights in the plugin accent while the previous one blinks out. Toggles latch lit until you turn them off, and Undo and Redo dim when Shapr3D has nothing to undo or redo.
The Stream Deck + XL profile opens on a full numpad: digits, decimal, Enter, Backspace, undo and redo, with operators and parentheses one page over. It types into whatever numeric field Shapr3D already has open.

macOS 13 or later, Stream Deck software 6.9 or newer, and Shapr3D 26.143 from the Mac App Store. This is the macOS listing. The Windows edition is Shapr3D Studio Deck.

Built for Shapr3D 26.143 from the Mac App Store, on macOS 13 or later. Requires the Stream Deck app 6.9 or later. Profiles are bundled for six decks: the 15-key Stream Deck, the Stream Deck +, the Stream Deck + XL, the 32-key Stream Deck XL, the Mini and the Neo. The seven dials need one of the two Stream Deck + models.
Keys and dials need Accessibility, and macOS never prompts for it. Add Elgato Stream Deck under System Settings, Privacy & Security, Accessibility, then quit and reopen the Stream Deck app. Click OK when macOS asks whether Elgato Stream Deck may control System Events.
Commands send only while Shapr3D is the front window, and nothing steals focus. If a key does nothing, click once in the Shapr3D window and press again.
A lit key means you fired that tool from this deck. Pick a tool with the mouse and the deck cannot see it, so the board disagrees until you press a tool key again. Lights Off clears it.
Pan and zoom stay on your mouse or trackpad. The deck takes the command hand and both orbit axes. Runs entirely on your own Mac. No account, no subscription, no telemetry.

True of every plugin we make

Every key carries the app's own shortcut for that command, and every key is remappable. Type your combination into the property inspector or click Capture and press it once. Where an app leaves a command unbound, the key still reaches it by the route that app exposes.
Keystrokes go to the front window and nothing steals focus, so keep the target app in front when you press.
Every command has its own drawn key art, so the deck reads at a glance instead of listing shortcuts.
