What it does

The Easy Link module is built in: hold one key while Windows Terminal is in front and the deck binds it to this plugin's profile, switching in when Terminal takes focus and handing your previous profile back when you leave.
A Claude Code context gauge on a key and on a dial: it reads the running session's own transcript and shows how much of the context window is used, with a warning band as auto-compact gets close.
Dials for profile picking, tab colour, opacity, and colour scheme, alongside font size, scrollback scrub, tab cycle, and pane resize.
Two looks: fresh installs get the Studio instrument-panel faces, updates keep the Classic CRT face, and any key switches between them in the property inspector.

Good to know

Keys send Windows Terminal's default bindings. If you customized actions in settings, remap the affected keys with the hotkey capture.
Auto profile switching: hold the Easy Link key, top-left on every bundled profile, for about a second while Windows Terminal is in front, and the deck follows Terminal from then on. A short press does nothing, so a stray tap never relinks. Prefer the Stream Deck app's own smart profiles? That still works: open Preferences, pick the profile under Profiles, and set its Application to Windows Terminal, with a normal Terminal window open so it appears in the list.
Target the non-admin Terminal. A Terminal launched with "Run as administrator" is invisible to the Stream Deck software, which runs without admin rights: Windows blocks it from reading elevated windows, so profile switching will not trigger and keystrokes will not land there. Run Terminal normally and everything works. If you truly need an admin terminal on the deck, the only route is running the Stream Deck app itself as administrator, with all the caveats that carries.
The tab colour, opacity and colour scheme dials drive Windows Terminal's own command palette and check each step landed before taking the next. An opt-in fast path exists for tab colours: with the plugin's tab-colour keybindings present in Windows Terminal's settings, the Tab Colour dial and key land instantly instead of driving the palette.
The context gauge reads Claude Code's own session files and sends no keystrokes.

True of every plugin we make

Every key carries the app's own shortcut for that command, and every key is remappable. Type your combination into the property inspector or click Capture and press it once. Where an app leaves a command unbound, the key still reaches it by the route that app exposes.
Keystrokes go to the front window and nothing steals focus, so keep the target app in front when you press.
Every command has its own drawn key art, so the deck reads at a glance instead of listing shortcuts.
